BFD(l:c)
Blackbody, Full radiator, Planckian radiator.
An
ideal thermal radiator capable of completely absorbing all
incident radiant flux at any wavelength, direction of incidence or
polarization providing the maximum spectral power distribution
depending on temperature alone.
Bleeding
The
unintentional transfer of colouring matter from one medium to or
through another.
Bloom
The
scattering of light in directions near the specular angle of
reflection by a deposit on or exudation from the specimin.
Brightness
The
attribute of a visual sensation by which an area appears to
exhibit more or less light.
Bronzing
A
metallic colouration seen when viewing the light reflected at
angles near the angle of specular reflection, the colour is
usually quite different from that seen for other directions.
